Irish Start-Up Expects Five New Healthcare Products to be Discovered by 2021 Thanks to AI

Nuritas, an Irish start-up that made the first discovery of a healthcare product using Artificial Intelligence (AI), has said that it has the ability to discover another four in the next 18 months.

The start-up, which has raised $65m (£51m) via a series of high-profile investors such as Salesforce founder Marc Benioff and U2’s Bono and The Edge, has said that the machine learning drug discovery process it uses has now had a 60% success rate – which is far higher than the rest of the pharmaceutical industry.
