A new smartphone app which could replace lost memories for people who suffer from dementia has won £100,000 worth of funding from the Alzheimer’s Society to help bring it to market.
The app, called How Do I?, allows loved ones of patients to record explanations of photos and shows users how to carry out everyday tasks such as boiling the kettle.
