A review of the Scottish Breast Screening Programme has been announced due to the growing demand for the service.
Breast Cancer Screening Review
The review, which will assess the current programme and the pressures it may be facing, is set to last a year. Joe FitzPatrick, Scotland’s Public Health Minister, said that the programme, which was launched in 1988, must change to cope with demand.
