Contractors who are working on the Northern Line Extension (NLE) Programme have revealed that they are attempting to improve mental health within the construction industry.

Mental Health Helpline

In a joint venture (JV), between Ferrovial Agroman and Laing O’Rourke (FLO), the two have set up a mental health helpline for construction workers throughout the industry, and have also organised social events for their 1,000 staff who are working on the Transport for London (TfL) project, in a bid to remove the stigmas attached to mental health.
