The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has received a share of £850 million in new funding, along with 20 other NHS organisations.

The Trust is set to receive £48 million in funding which will go towards the redesign of acute services for Isle of Wight residents. In March this year, the Trust was placed in special measures due to financial underperformance and an ongoing significant deficit.
