NHS England Looks to ‘Phase In’ PCN Requirements to Avoid ‘Overburdening’ Teams

NHS England are planning on phasing in all requirements for their primary care networks (PCN) so that they are not ‘overburdening’ their networks, new proposals have revealed.


In accordance with draft guidance that outlines PCN service specifications, which was released by NHS England on 23 December 2019, practices working as part of PCNs will be required to deliver five national services from April 2020 onwards.
