Two leading public health sector officials have voiced their concerns over how the major parties have been campaigning on the NHS, calling their promises misleading and impossible.
Voicing Concerns
Chris Hopson, Chief Executive of NHS Providers, has said that politicians have ducked the big issues when it comes to health and social care. Royal College of Physicians President Professor Andrew Goddard also said that manifesto promises on the NHS were not ‘physically possible’ because of a lack of people in training to fulfil them.
