What providers and commissioners of healthcare services can do to manage the risks of a no-deal Brexit.
The government has released new guidance for UK healthcare providers, outlining the actions that organisations should be taking before and after Brexit. The aim of the guidance is to enable hospitals, care homes and GP practices to plan for any eventuality, including any disruption in services in the event of a no deal Brexit.
The guidance covers a range of areas of advice for organisations for the countdown to Brexit and is based on the advice contained in the Brexit operational readiness guidance issued for healthcare providers in December 2018.
