The first national Population Health Fellowship for NHS clinical staff in England has been launched by Health Education England (HEE), with the aim of the fellowship being to develop trainees who are capable of incorporating population health into their local communities, which will in turn improve patient care and outcomes.
Population Health
Population health is designed to improve the health of an entire population, and seeks to improve physical, mental and social well-being for the whole population. This HEE pilot aims to develop and grow a workforce of professionals who can, and will, incorporate population health into their everyday jobs.
