Green Light for Brain Bleed Stroke Patients to Take Aspirin

Those who have suffered a stroke caused by brain haemorrhages have been given the green light to take common medicines such as aspirin, without increasing the risk of another stroke, a new major clinical trial has found.

Findings from Edinburgh University-led research offer reassurance for those who regularly take antiplatelet medicines to stop blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attacks or a different type of stroke.
