NHS Commissioners have now chosen the winner of a £1 billion contract to provide adult community services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Health bosses have selected their ‘preferred provider’ from various bids made during a tender process which started in January.
However, the organisation is not to be named until the end of the month, due to the legally required ‘standstill period’ which allows other bidders to comment on the selection.
