Through the NHS Long Term Plan, the NHS has given 6,000 people across the Midlands with Type 1 diabetes access to life-changing diabetes monitors.

Blood Sugar Monitors

Thanks to these innovative devices, those who have Type 1 diabetes do not have to carry out multiple finger-prick checks to monitor their blood sugar levels. The monitors are the size of a £2 coin, and worn on the arm of the user, meaning that they can monitor their blood sugar levels in a more convenient way.
