The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has commissioned the construction of three buildings comprising of a medical and dental centre, physical training centre, and a drill area at the Defence College of Logistics, Policing, and Administration in Worthy Down.

The Defence College project was carried out by the Swedish modular construction specialist Skanska, as part of a £300M project, with the purpose of the development being to train MOD personnel more effectively and efficiently so that they may deliver the best possible support for military operations.

The DIO’s Principal Project Manager, Matthew Richardson stated: “We are pleased to be working with Skanska to deliver these fantastic new facilities. The new buildings will provide our armed forces personnel with first class, modern health and leisure facilities that should make their overall experience of the college an enjoyable one.”
